SPRING HAS SPRUNG


 Good morning and welcome to my blog.  I hope everyone has had a lovely month and I can't believe it's May already.
This month over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 we have two new sketches for you and a retro sketch from the archives.

Here is my first card for May and you'll see my other card on the 16th of May when last month's winners are announced.

This design is so simple and so quick.  Also, check your scrap bin out to add to the front of your card rather than cutting up a new sheet of design paper.

I've used soft colours in this card usually I use bold.
Gem Embellishments, Pattern Paper, Die Cuts

2. Coloured Card Stock: Bazzill Wild Pansey 
3. Design Paper: American Crafts The Color of Memories
4. Sentiment: PC Generated

6. Dies Used: Star Flower unbranded die.

Amazing Flowers


Good morning and welcome to my blog.  It's Wednesday evening here in New Zealand and it's Autumn, the weather is a little cooler but the temperature is still warm during the day.
Today I have the second sketch I created for 
Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

A quick peek at the inside of my card, it's an easy sketch and I was so happy with how this card finally looked once I finished.

Challenges I'm Entering:
The last piece of design paper and the ribbon used under the sentiment was out of my scrap bin and there was just enough for what I wanted. 

Card Recipe:

1. Base: White French Linen card stock.
2. Coloured Card: American Craft card colour Orchid
3. Design Paper: Wildflowers by Craftwork
3. Image: Unknown and unsure

4. Colour Medium: Copics


5. Sentiment: PC Generated Font: 


6. Bows: Made with white satin ribbon and coloured with my copics, they matched my flower and card stock.

7. Spellbinders die Petite Large Ovals, and Floral Ovals.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

 Good morning and welcome to my blog.  Today I'm featuring a card I made for my Daughter-in-law's birthday.
I made a Diamond Point card for her and I wanted it to be elegant and she is.

FRIENDS ARE LIKE FLOWERS


Good morning, I do hope everyone had a lovely Easter break.  I can't believe it's over for another year.  I hope you had time to do a little crafting and enjoy time with family and friends.

It's funny when I designed this sketch for 
Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 I thought of making a Christmas card, how wrong was I, I decided on flowers instead.
