Sweet Sketch Wednesday Sketch #122

Snow White A Princess
Rectangle

Square

Square

Wow  it is another Wednesday here again, tell me where did the last one get too?  This week has gone so quickly.  I have one son on a 3 week holiday break and the other starts on Friday.   So I have both the boys home for their break.  The weather here is getting warmer so we might spend a few days at our Beach House as long as it's not raining.

Because it's Wednesday it means it's Sweet Sketch Wednesday and Arlana has another new sketch for you to work with.  Congratulations to our winners this week there were some really lovely cards.

Sketch #122
Is it a square or is it a rectangle???
Arlana is leaving that one for you to decide this week.

We have a new sponsor this week it's

Krista Smith from
Saturated Canary Digi's

My name is Krista Smith. I am the artist behind the Etsy shop, Saturated Canary Digis. I began working in the stamping world about a year ago when I was hired to create rubber designs for the sweet Scottish company, Sugar Nellie. They launched my artwork under the name 'Simply Sassy.' I moved into the digital world just this past month (it's been a super busy month, indeed!). And-- I love it!! There is a little more freedom here, as I can create anything that pops into my head:)! I am so humbled by the artistic talent of the girls coloring in my designs-- it is truly an inspiration! Likewise, I am so thankful for the friendships I've made in this wonderful and lovely crafty community! It's been a true delight! I'd love for you to stop by my challenge/inspiration blog, Saturated Canary Challenge and join in the fun...And, while you're there, click over to my personal blog (Saturated Canary) and introduce yourself! I am a bit eclectic and touch on everything from family (I've got me a great one!) to fashion (obsessed!)...Please say 'hi!'...I'd love to be friends!:)

Krista is offering our lucky winner
2
 of her wonderful digi images
 for you to choose from

Now it's time to visit our Sweet Sketch Wednesday Design Team and check out what they have created with Krista's images just for you. Aren't they wonderful?

Card Recipes
Base: White SU Card Stock
Coloured Card: Red and Apple Green Bazzil
Design Paper: Apples from Sheryl K Designs (digi download)
Image: Snow White A Princess from Saturated Canary
Colour Medium: Copics, Copic atYou, clear embossing pen, red gel glitter pen.
Tools: Cuttlebug, Clasic Squares, Glass Finish, Glue Dots, Hot Melt Glue Gun, Pop Dots,
Embellishments: Ribbons, Lace and Flowers all from my stash.

Red Apple embellishment I made out of the design paper.  Cut the apple out and coloured it with Copics and then coated it with Glass Finish.
Flowers are from my stash.
I am now using a hot melt glue gun to attach them to my cards.  I was using glue dots but finding they were not strong enough.

Take care everyone and have a great weekend and a wonderful week crafting.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and leaving me a little love it's so much appreciated.

Hugs

Wow Kathie - all three with the same image but they look so different. What a fabulous assortment! You are genious on that apple embellie - I had no idea until I read your take. So clever of you. I love that we all had different SC images and this one that you selected is adorable. Have a great week!

Sharon :)

What yummy papers Kathie, Your always co-ordinate your colors and papers so well. I love how you used the little apple in the center of the flower and the rosesgo so well too. Your image is precious. She is really a cutie. How fun to have the boys home for a few weeks. Enjoy the warm weather and the boys. Our weather is starting to turn. We have had rain all week and it is starting to cool off. I even had to put a blanket on me early this morning. So, fall and winter for us is just around the corner.
Have a wonderful week!
Hugs, Nancy

Kathie, you sure got a workout with this week's sketch, lol but what a great assortment of cards you came up with. Love the same papers and image and such a variety of looks. Thanks so much for confirming the hot glue gun...I was just thinking about getting it out and giving it a try for some of the heavier embellishments. I never can get the flowers to stay. Beach house....sounds like fun, enjoy!
